Body language wisdom quotes
1) “Body language and tone of voice - not words - are our most powerful assessment tools.”
-Christopher Voss
When someone sees our body language and tone of voice, it has a greater impact than the words coming out of our mouth. Words are just what makes what we say make sense while out body language and tone of voice affects our impression of our expression as a majority. For words without the proper body language and tone of voice will drain the energy of our expression of choice.
2) “Body language is a very powerful tool. We had body language before we had speech, and apparently, 80% of what you understand in a conversation is read through the body, not the words.”
-Deborah Bull
Body language is a very powerful tool, because it affects how others accept our choice of expression to be. Even before we had language, people used to understand each other through body language alone. It affects 80% of what someone understands in a conversation because conversation isn't only about understanding what someone is saying, but how they accept it is the most important aspect.
3) “I don't think people are going to talk in the future. They're going to communicate through eye contact, body language, emojis, signs.”
-Kanye West
In modern times, it is when language is the most developed in human times. But, we can think that people are not going to talk in the future, and that they will communicate through eye contact, body language, emojis and signs, because our choice of words that we express has so little power in affecting how someone accepts our expression in comparison to eye contact and body language. Emojis and signs can replace words, because emojis and signs are more of a clearer expression than words can describe anything.
4) “A shoe is not only a design, but it's a part of your body language, the way you walk. The way you're going to move is quite dictated by your shoes.”
-Christian Louboutin
If we are wearing sneakers or dress shoes, the way we walk changes, because we perceive a different version of ourself through life experiences. This is why teenagers usually have a thing for sneakers while elders are more into dress shoes. Then, at a certain age, dress shoes becomes a thing of the past and they go back into wearing sneakers but not as fancy as how we used to want it to be. This is how a shoe is not only a design, but it's a part of our body language, in which is the way we walk. The way we are going to move is quite dictated by our shoes.
5) “When you think you're showing effort, and your body language is showing that, then you're really playing your best, and then nobody will be able to talk bad about your game.”
-Deandre Ayton
We all have a standard of how we express ourselves, and that standard is based on our life experiences of how others see us and treat us. It can never be dull to the point that nobody likes or thinks highly of, for, we all have that much of a sense of talent of sorts. This is how when we think we are showing effort, and our body language is showing that, then we are really plaing our best, and nobody will be able to talk bad about our game.
